# Financial SKU Planner (COGS Planner)
The Financial SKU Planner is used to estimate unit economics and scenario impacts by SKU.
# Where to find it
Go to Planning -> Financial SKU Planner.
# Core concepts
- Baseline: your current modeled snapshot (inputs and assumptions)
- Scenarios: what-if adjustments layered on top of a baseline
- SKU economics: revenue, COG, tax/freight, gross, and net outputs
# Inputs managed in the planner
- Ingredient inputs by beer
- Packaging materials and format/subtype component mapping
- Facility overhead assumptions
- Standard overhead model
- Contract brewing model (fixed fee and percent-of-COGs)
# Scenario modeling
Scenarios can override:
- Price per unit
- Output assumptions
- Facility mix assumptions
The planner then compares baseline vs scenario net metrics and aggregate impact.
# Notes and caveats
- Outputs are assumption-based estimates.
- Results do not include every possible operating expense unless explicitly modeled in your inputs.
- Keep reference notes in baseline metadata so teams know what periods and assumptions were used.
